Commercial pinestraw installation for large properties.

HOA common areas, apartment communities, office parks, churches, campuses and golf courses — installed by our own crews with straw from our own farm, in Columbia, the Midlands and beyond. Landscapers: sub the pinestraw portion of your job to us.

Quotes on large jobs start with a phone call: (803) 394-0361. Or email us and we'll call you.

Work we've handled

A board, a facilities manager or a landscaper sizing us up is really asking one question: has this outfit done a job my size before? Here is the kind of work we take on. Properties and clients stay anonymous — yours would too.

A regional bank, nearly 20 locations.

Branches across South Carolina and Georgia — Upstate to the Lowcountry to the Augusta area — installed on one schedule, with one point of contact and one invoice.

A multi-thousand-bale neighborhood install on the North Carolina coast.

A whole neighborhood, thousands of bales spread. Straw came off our own farm, our crew installed it, and the job ran start to finish rather than being staged out over the season.

Two college campuses in the Midlands.

Pinestraw installation across both campuses.

Church grounds in the Midlands.

At least two churches so far. At one, we installed several hundred bales across the property — entrances, islands and beds around the buildings.

Repeat deliveries to a West Columbia employer.

A few hundred bales at a time, job after job, for a large site that keeps its beds covered. Well over a thousand bales have also gone to a single Columbia property in one delivery.

Trailer loads for a Lowcountry landscape company.

Repeat pup-trailer loads and, when their season called for it, a full 53-foot van of rolls.

We keep client names and addresses off this website on purpose. If you want to hear how a job went, our customers say it themselves — read the reviews.

Why property managers call us back

We work weekends.

A bank branch, a shopping center or a busy office park often can't have a crew in the beds on a Tuesday morning. We'll put the job on a Saturday or a Sunday and hand the property back before Monday.

Big jobs go fast.

We staff a large property to finish it, not to stretch it out. Our own straw, our own crews and enough hands on site mean a job that ties up a smaller contractor for weeks is done and cleaned up in days.

Insured crews, one contact, one invoice.

Our crews are insured. You deal with one person from the walk-through to the invoice, and you get one invoice for the whole property — or for all your sites.

Before-and-after photos, on request.

You usually have a board, an owner or a district office to answer to. Ask and we'll photograph the property before we start and after we finish, and send the photos over.

Who we work with

HOAs & neighborhoods

Entrances, common areas, amenity centers and street islands — scheduled around residents. If the board needs to see it before it votes, ask for the photos.

Property managers

Apartment communities, office parks, retail and banks — consistent coverage across every building, on a weekend window when a weekday crew won't do.

Churches, schools & campuses

Tight windows before services, events or move-in, and grounds staff who need it done without disruption.

Golf courses

Natural areas, tee complexes, clubhouse beds and cart-path edges. The bale counts run like a neighborhood — a job size we've done — and we'd like to add a course to the list above.

Landscapers

Sub the pinestraw portion to us. You keep the client and the relationship; we bring the straw and the crew, do the pinestraw under your name and get off the site so your people keep moving. It's usually faster and cheaper than pulling your own crew off higher-margin work to spread straw. Rather spread it yourselves? We deliver by the trailer load too — see below.

Trailer loads

Supply yards, and crews that spread their own: bales and rolls by the trailer load, delivered to your yard or straight to the job — pup trailers up to a full 53-foot van. Because it's our own farm, we can plan your season's supply rather than hoping a broker has stock in April. Farm pickup is by appointment. Details on Just the straw.

Installation is what we do best.

Delivery is easy; installation is where a big job succeeds or fails. Our crews spread to a consistent depth, roll every edge, blow off walks and drives, and haul the twine away — so the property looks finished the day we leave, not "mulched."

For larger properties we walk the site first, count beds, and give you a bale count and a firm quote. Then we schedule it in the number of days it actually takes, and stay until it's done.

How a commercial job goes

  1. Call or send us the property — an address, a plat or a plan, and what you want covered.
  2. We walk it (or work from your plan), count beds, and send a bale count with a firm, all-in quote.
  3. Pick the window, weekdays or a weekend. We schedule the crew days it takes and coordinate with your grounds staff or residents.
  4. We install and clean up. Ask for before-and-after photos and we'll send them.

When it's time again — most large properties refresh once or twice a year — call and we put you back on the schedule.

Questions we get

Do big jobs get a better price?

Every job is priced as a job. The bale count, the delivery and whether we install all move the number. Call and we'll price yours.

Are you insured?

Yes. Our crews are insured.

Can you work around residents or business hours?

Yes. Weekends and early starts are normal for us on busy properties.

How far will you go?

Columbia and the Midlands every week. For the right job, across South Carolina and beyond.
